So I've had a brief hiatus from blogging this summer, but with the temperature being 60 degrees and a week of rain coming, it has come to my attention that IT'S FALL!!! I know a lot of you students are not nearly as pumped as I am for the Fall Semester to be upon us, but I can guarantee that this season at IUMC Youth will give you some awesome events, messages, and retreats to look forward to!
The first MAJOR CHANGE to be aware of as we go into the school year: FISH IS NOW 7-9PM EVERY SUNDAY AND ROOT IS NOW 5:30-7PM EVERY WEDNESDAY!!! I am so excited to have more time with both groups this school year, and cannot wait to see all your beautiful faces at the correct times in the coming weeks.
The second THING TO BE AWARE OF is that there is now a Sr. High Girls Group meeting Tuesdays 7-8:30PM in the Community Life Center. So if you're a Senior High Girl get there! It's going to be awesome!! Jr. High Girls Group will be continuing this year, BUT you will be meeting twice a month on SUNDAY NIGHTS. And don't worry boys, you're not being left out. A Sr. High Guys Group is in the making, and will be starting in October. Jr. High Guys: GET TO YOUTH GROUP!!! We miss you and want to start a small group with you.
